Prepare to be wowed. November in Connecticut can be cold, but this winter bridal styled shoot is red hot! Photographer Fabrice Tranzer designed this shoot and delivered the most amazing shots of model Brooke.
Fabrice Tranzer told us what influenced this shoot… I drew inspiration from the local setting of Ridgefield’s own Garden of Ideas community garden as inspiration for this organic bridal shoot. Each of the three dresses had hints of the ‘sauvage’ that played off of the natural vegetation surrounding the model. These ideas were reflected in the accessories, hair, and make-up. There were also elements of fantasy, and so my goal was to frame Brooke in these mirage-like frames with the light in my camera. Every bride I photograph is usually living out some of her biggest dreams in some way on her wedding day, and so with this shoot I was accentuating a dreamlike state. I also wanted to experiment with idea that when her groom first sees her, the bride is like a precious jewel in the wilderness.
Jennifer Kinford owner and makeup artist of Jennifer Kinford Weddings came up with the concept for the shoot and was the creative force behind this shoot. She shared, I knew the location before the gowns, so I had ideas to begin with. I am very familiar with the Garden of Ideas and have always thought how incredible it would look in the fall/winter with glamorous, lovely bridal gowns against it. I was really inspired by the erie feel of the late fall foliage that was beginning to weep with the cold. I really wanted etherial glamour and I think the gowns we chose, along with the furs and jewelry really solidified the tone of the shoot. The white Alvina Valenta gown was my absolute favorite with the fur and jewels! It was so deliciously over the top and powerful, exactly what a glamorous bride should be! That gown against the tall grass was magical. For the makeup, I just wanted to compliment the gowns and the nature around her. I kept everything very neutral and delicate while emphasizing her features.

Ashley Krauss of A Little Something White Bridal Couture, told us about look one... Brooke is wearing an Alvina Valenta layered tulle ball gown with a strapless scoop neckline and jeweled embroidered bodice. We paired this with earrings from the Something Old Collection, a fur from the Something Borrowed Collection, and a hair comb from the Little Something White Collection. We felt this look commanded bolder accessories to complement the softness of the gown.
Look two... Brooke is wearing the Sareh Nouri Sophie, a ballgown featuring silk organza draping in the bodice and layers of organza on the skirt. We designed her look to be understated and effortless, and therefore chose only a pair of earrings from the Something Old Collection.
Look three... Brooke is wearing Liancarlo style 5886, a Candlelight colored Italian tulle sleeveless ballgown with an illusion neckline. This was our showstopper, and so we selected earrings with gorgeous gold accents from our Erin Cole jewelry collection and a jeweled hair vine from the Little Something White collection. The goal was to achieve something that was bold and dramatic. In certain photos, we also incorporated a fur from the Something Borrowed Collection.
