Love vintage details and beautiful ranch locations? This Santa Barbara vintage ranch wedding at the Heartstone Ranch is for you. This vintage ranch wedding was pulled together with a lovely creamy and bright color palette featuring gold, orange, peach and yellow. Local Santa Barbara couple, Mallery and Jackson, went with Felici Events to help create the dreamy vintage details for their day. Their day was beautifully captured by Melissa Musgrove Photography. I adore the vintage details, that fluffy dream gown, and how they incorporated their sweet dogs into their event.
Mallery and Jackson met at The Neighborhood Bar in Santa Barbara in summer of 2009. Mallery played hard to get until she couldn’t stand it anymore, and Jackson quickly scooped her up by saying, “I’m not sure how people do this nowadays, but I want you to be my girlfriend.”
From the bride…My best moment was walking back down the aisle with Jackson after we said “I Do.” It was a feeling of overwhelming happiness, excitement and relief! I was so happy to finally be married to the love of my life. I was so excited for the rest of the night and for our lives to come as a married couple. And finally, I was so relieved because I could stand back, look around at all of my family and friends, and take in everything that over a year of planning had manifested. Everything was absolutely perfect, as it should be when you’re living a fairytale with your prince charming!
From the groom…My best moment was seeing Mallery for the first time in her wedding dress. Not being able to see her for the entire day built up a great deal of anticipation and anxiousness, and I couldn’t wait to see what this whole getting ready process amounted to! When it was finally time to do the “first look” I couldn’t wait to go see her. Her back was turned to me and her dress was beautiful. Melissa Musgrove (our photographer) told me to walk up to her slowly and pause for 10 seconds when I was about 10 feet away from her and then call her name. Those 10 seconds felt like a couple minutes, and when I called her name and she turned around, it almost took my breath away. When we walked toward each other she was smiling from ear to ear and kissing her for the first time in our wedding attire was the most amazing kiss.
That dress, right? So dreamy!
How fun was the getaway bus?!
