WarmPhoto Photography‘s soft whimsical images sweep us off our feet and into the world of this romantic lace Spring wedding styled shoot. There is a soft fairytale quality to this elegant shoot that took place at Vox Photo Studio in Moscow, Russia. Greenery, free-flowing flowers, and botanicals are becoming more popular as newly engaged couples and wedding designers lean the next step past rustic or vintage flair for wedding décor. This shoot captures that essence and new wedding trend perfectly: marrying timelessly elegant traditional style with the new whimsical natural look that has become the next big thing in weddings.
The whimsical bouquet in this shoot is wrapped in ribbon from her Grandmother’s chest which adds a sentimental nod to tradition. There’s something special about weddings that incorporate family in their planning but especially symbolically in the bouquet, as if the new bride is carrying everything that special person taught her into her new life.
The photographer says of the shoot, “We wanted to discover different shades of the sweet words, “romance” and “romantic” and transfer it to a modern bridal look. This shoot depicts a Spring romance! It is light & cheerful with lace and ribbons from Grandmother’s chest, loose braided hairstyle with pearls, blushed cheeks, and a bride’s head in the clouds. It is also elegant with a long veil and pearl earrings. It is meant to encompass a light, beautiful love and vibe.”
Touching again on this shoot’s subtle fairytale feeling, this model’s hair by Elen White reminds me of a mermaid with pearls strung over lots of tight braids loosely wrapped in a bun. Her natural makeup and lips are also reminiscent of a mermaid. The pop of color in the vintage aqua vase together with cascading centerpiece on top of the moss and green leaves are like some magical forest where fairies dwell. Funt of Happy used lilac, hyacinth, and ranunculus to give an airy feeling while the moss grounds the ambiance of the Spring wedding season.
