Sighhhhh. I am in LOVE with today’s shoot from Alicia Lucia Photography. Shot with the stunning landscape of New Mexico as the backdrop, this Southwestern engagement session will make you melt. Peter and Jacquelyn are adorable and their chemistry in these photos is palpable.
When speaking about planning this shoot, bride-to-be Jacquelyn said, “For our engagement shoot, we wanted to accomplish three things: first we wanted to show off New Mexico; second we wanted to give a preview of the theme of our wedding; and third we wanted to capture the true feeling of being engaged! The first was easy. We selected Elena Gallegos park for its dramatic backdrop. The second was accomplished with my hand sewn skirt and crepe paper rose. And the third was all Alicia. She captured our love and excitement and we couldn’t be happier with our choice in wedding photographer!”
From the photographer… Peter and Jacquelyn (and their families) are from the East Coast, but met in New Mexico. They wanted to capture their engagement in the city where met and fell in love. It was also important to them to show off the beautiful New Mexico landscape. Jacquelyn wore a lovely tulle skirt embellished with a big bow, which she made herself by hand! They are having a September wedding at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa and we can’t wait!
Soooo... I'm dying to know! Did you love this southwestern engagement shoot as much as I did? Let me know in the comments!!
