Who says you can only wear your wedding dress once? Ariel donned her gown again for this romantic bridal photography session captured by husband and photographer Mathew Irving. The soft, blush color palette and beautiful location pair perfectly.
From the bride… Mathew and I will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary in a matter of weeks. And since I’m now married to the most artistic, talented, and skilled photographer in Denver (no, I am in no way biased), I was happy to slip into my wedding attire for a romantic bridal photography session. Actually, I became giddy at the simple thought of wearing my silk taffeta Justin Alexander gown again. It’s not too often a girl has a good reason to wear her wedding dress for a second time! I loved the way the sweetheart neckline, natural-waist, and A-line skirt accentuated my waist. My hand-beaded Justin Alexander belt didn’t hurt either. I can’t thank the team at The Bridal Collection enough for helping me select this gem of a dress! There were many details that pulled our luminous, romantic shoot together. Our amazing wedding florist at Pretty Petals in Littleton Colorado recreated my bridal bouquet and centerpiece, enhancing the romance of the scene. And, my blush Nina heals delightfully complimented the bouquet’s Fado roses. As for luminescence, nothing captures sunlight like gorgeous jewelry! With earrings and a bracelet by Nadri Jewelry and pretty little shoe clips from Absolutely Audrey, light reflected in all directions. I am one lucky bride… again!
I think I'm ready to put my dress back on! Anyone else out there inspired to do a post-wedding bridal shoot? Have you done one already? Show us the pictures!!!
