Hillary and Jeremy’s powder blue and peach wedding at Rembrandt Yard is classic. The soft pastels and lace add a romantic feel. If you love romantic pastel weddings, this wedding is for you! Marilee & Grace Wedding + Event Design , Taylor Chamberlain, worked magic on the romantic feel and design. Their perfect peach garden roses and floral design was created by The European Flower Shop. The classic and delicious cake was by Nancy Best Cake Designs.
High school sweethearts, Hillary and Jeremy, met in their senior year through a mutual friend. They continued their romance throughout college at the University of Colorado. Hillary is working on her doctorate and Jeremy has gone on to law school.
Their proposal was especially sweet! Jeremy proposed during a ski outing in Vail. Hillary had no idea he was carrying a box of rose petals, tea light candles, and little bottles of champagne in his backpack. He got down on one knee and proposed right on the ski run!
They were married on August 24, 2014 at Varsity Lake which is right on the CU campus. The reception was held at the Rembrandt Yard Art Gallery also near the campus. The couple recited traditional vows during their outdoor ceremony and then shared their personal vows to one another once they arrived at the reception with just the wedding party in attendance. “It was intimate and nice to share that moment with the people who are so important in our lives”, shared Hillary. The couple honeymooned for a week in Kauai right after the wedding.
