We may be heading into the heart of winter but lets visit fall for just one day with these beautiful orchard engagement photos!
Nicole Nero Studio literally found the light! These moments give off so much warmth and love I can feel it coming off the screen! Not to mention a stunning cinema by Gardenhouse Films! I hope this begins the end of your week on a high note! Enjoy!
From the Bride to Be: We wanted our engagement shoot to be representative of us. We both grew up in a small village and family is one of the very most important things to us. We wanted to showcase our love of nature and our hometown and our sense of fun.
I knew I was going to wear “ruby” slippers on my wedding day so I wanted to wear my “causal” ruby slippers for the shoot. They were Toms sandals that I hot-stoned. I knew I was making all the flowers for the wedding, I started in March, trying to make 20-50 a week. They were fabric paper. I included them in our engagement shoot as a preview of the big day.
I always liked my mom’s veil, however it was stained from aged and not a possibility for me to wear for the wedding. But I liked wearing it for the photo shoot to give Keven an idea of what I’d look like as his bride.
Keven wore many hats, for the shoot, including one from Germany where we went on vacation with his family and a hat that was his grandfather’s.
For our outfits I picked something that would be timeless. I wanted a dress that would evoke the idea of a wedding dress without being one. I got both dresses from rent the runway.
For Keven I picked classic men’s clothing so that when we look back we won’t be embarrassed or feel the clothing is dated.
In Brooklyn, we went to the Brooklyn bridge where Keven asked me to marry him. I asked him after why he chose that and he said “I love bridges & I love you. & this bridge has stood the test of time.” He’s such an engineer.
From Nicole Nero Studio, Jessie and Keven are one of the most in-love couples that I've met! They didn't hold back at all during their engagement shoot at a local orchard that is right near their hometown. Their love for each other was obvious during the entire shoot, but was also shown in the detail that went into planning their attire, accessories and extras. They added in things that spoke to their personality, their love of art, creativity and of being unique. They even brought along Jessie's mom's veil, from her wedding, to add a touch of vintage and nostalgia to their images which I loved!
