I can’t help but feel so very merry and bright with Christmas just around the corner! These Napa Valley inspired engagement photos will have you even more in the spirit. One of my favorite aspects of a styled shoot is that they truly inspire so many celebrations. In this case Angela Marie Events styled one spectacular session that I may plan to use elements of for my Christmas table. Also proof that getting your own engagement photos styled is always a good idea.
Bride-to-be model Karli Willis doned long, loose tresses by Paris Parker Salon Perkins Rowe and a beautiful natural beauty look by Brittany Brignac Devall paired with the prettiest floral dress from Anthropologie. The groom-to-be, model Logan Durand, wore a relaxed look from McLavys in Bocage that perfectly suited the ambiance of Highland Road Farm.
A rustic beauty of tablescape with rentals from Event Rental was dressed complete with a jaw dropping centerpiece by Rickey Heroma’s and some of the loveliest calligraphy pieces designed by Anna Claire Calligraphy + Design. A fig tart, cheese board, fresh bread and vino with catering by Gourmet Girls complete this darling afternoon. One that you won’t be able to stop staring at when you see all the pretty captured by Ashleigh Jayne Photography.
From Angela Marie Events, We were still feeling the effects of the floods in Baton Rouge when we shot this styled engagement shoot. The water was still flooded under the oak trees but we were lucky to have the gorgeous front side to use, flood free. The inspiration for this shoot was inspired by the organic and natural feel of Napa Valley. Using wine and cheese as props, it really pulled in the that West Coast Napa Valley vibe while giving it a Southern Twist. We also love the idea of hosting an engagement party but first using the set-up for your own engagement photo shoot! This styled inspiration shoot takes place before the guests arrive, just a quiet moment for the couple themselves. Kind of like a “wedding day first look” but for your engagement session! Highland Road Farm in Baton Rouge made the perfect backdrop for this outdoor soiree inspiration!
From Ashleigh Jayne Photography, Angela and I have worked together before and I’m always so thrilled to photograph her amazing style. I particularly loved the minimalist table setting, the organic feel and the neutral setting. It truly felt like we were on an estate winery!
