If Ed & Aileen Photography hadn’t told us about the chilly temps during Matt and Kathryn’s engagement shoot, we wouldn’t have believed it. These two look warm and cozy in their Lincoln Park engagement shoot.
From the couple… Matt and I wanted to showcase our simple style in an exciting way. Combining the Chicago skyline and the natural beauty of Lincoln Park as a backdrop for our engagement session allowed us to do just that. Advice: Find a setting that will do the work for you. Picking a beautiful place for your photo shoot will inevitably leave you with beautiful photos. Also, pick photographers that match your personality; communicate with them before booking so that you can get a sense of who they are.
From Ed & Aileen Photography… Kathryn and Matt are ridiculously adorable! These college sweethearts met at Illinois Wesleyan University, and their story began on the soccer field at IWU – the same field that Matt proposed to Kathryn on. Swoon!! They recently moved to Chicago, and wanted to showcase the city where they will start their lives together as a married couple. What a perfect backdrop for their love story! For their engagement session, we met on a chilly Saturday right before sunset at the Lincoln Zoo Nature Boardwalk and explored the area together. We discovered amazing architecture, beautiful skyline views, and a deserted beach. We even found a soccer field!! Kathryn and Matt are such lighthearted and easy going people. Even though the temperature was dropping fast, they were all smiles (and some shivers).
