Today’s elegant fall wedding inspiration is infused with sweet and stylish details that show how stunning traditional elegance can be. Though we are in the midst of summer I can’t deny that I always look forward to the crisp air and color palettes of fall. From the dapper ushers, the adorable flower girls, those gorgeous floral crowns, beautiful baskets filled with fresh blooms, one really sweet and stylish looking pup with his own floral collar, there is an abundance of charm to see today. Designed by Denise from The Persnickety Bride at Crabtree’s Kittle House in Chappaqua, NY, there is plenty more beauty to see including the prettiest of centerpieces from Ganim Garden Center and a stunning bridal gown from A Little Something White Bridal Couture, gorgeous hair and makeup designs crafted by Carly McKay and Ashley Matta of Beauty Entourage, all captured by Donna Cheung Photography.
From photographer Donna Cheung, Deep colors of burgundy and yellows were chosen for this fall themed wedding to match the classic elegance and beauty of the inn. the bride’s dress was a ivory light gold Alvina Valenta tulle (courtesy of A Little Something White Bridal Couture).
Instead of the traditional bridal party, we opted for junior brides maids, flower girls, and ring bearers to add a more unique and fun twist to the shoot.
Quote from Denise, I wanted to combine my love of the Tuscany region of Italy during the fall season, along with products with coordinating textures and colors we supply through The Persnickety Bride. I have spent a lot of time in Europe and do take much of my inspiration from combining the look of old world and new together.
My thought by creating the color palette boards were to bring a rich european air to the table with multi texture linens and colors along with a chic rustic feel paying homage to “la campagna”.
Donna Cheung adds, To match the traditional elegance of the theme, we opted for classic tuxedos (courtesy of Zemo Men's Store in Stamford, Connecticut) for our groom and ring bearers.
Denise continues, The bride’s headpiece although it may not be seen in the pictures well, is of a gold, crystal, and pearl, demi wreath which up close is beyond stunning. I requested hair wreaths be made for the girls as well (and the dog) to keep the look very natural and not overdone. The Beauty Entourage team did a phenomenal job with our bride's hair. A low Chignon complimented the soft loose curls and jeweled headpiece matching the hair wreaths of the flower girls.
Designer Denise from The Persnickety Bride.com describes the paper items, The stationery was created to again give our color palette the ability to shine with a little touch of green, clementine, bark paper, the simplest of ribbons to tie the look together.
The floral design by Merrilee of Ganim’s Florist was executed to perfection, bringing in the richness and elegance to create a fabulously elegant but yet warm and inviting look to the table settings, describes Denise from The Persnickety Bride.
