The wedding of Enza Anastasi and Joseph Sorbara is a timeless and classic New York wedding at the C.V. Rich Mansion, a beautiful turn-of-the-century Victorian home situated on five acres of expertly-maintained landscape. The day was perfectly captured by their photographer, Kimberly Coccagina and organized by Ali Barone Events. Enza has designed florals for a great many weddings throughout the years as a luxury florist at Diana Gould LTD and was so excited to design her own wedding.
Enza met Joseph on Match.com and they felt an instant connection. Their children got along wonderfully and soon Enza and her daughter were moving from Yonkers, New York to New Milford, Connecticut to be with Joe and his son.
Their romantic ceremony took place in the gorgeous open-air of the C.V. Rich Mansion’s grounds. The details and the lush florals were breathtaking. We just love the abundance of floral arrangements at this wedding. Enza and her team at Diana Gould Ltd created amazing full and textured bouquets and the centerpieces were created in various sizes surrounded by mercury glass gold votives for each table.
Enza describes the day of her wedding: The entire day was picture perfect from start to finish. Our ceremony was held outside with our son, daughter, nieces and nephews leading the way. The girls wore knee length blush dresses while the boys were in grey and white with navy blue Converse sneakers.
Every one of our vendors went over and beyond to make our day so perfect. My invitations were probably the prettiest I’ve ever seen. Briana designed exactly what I was looking for and then coordinated all the table numbers, menus, and escort cards. Jay Prince kept everyone on the dance floor. Kimberly Coccagina captured every expression, detail, and emotion throughout the day. Eddie from United Video made sure we could go back and relive it. Ali Barone and her amazing team made sure every detail got executed…without her I would have been a control freak all day long! My Diana Gould ltd. team….all I can say is WOW!!! They let me torture them for weeks with all my “wants & needs.” Not a single flower, candle, linen or twinkle light was out of place.
We had such an amazing time and didn’t want this day to end. As a matter of fact, I’m trying to convince Joe that we should do it again every year. He’s not budging!
You can tell by the images of the happy couple that their fun personalities were showcased perfectly on their special day.
Enza's bridal gown was a lovely traditional gown adorned with lace, a sparkly sash, and ribbon accents. The lace sleeves were timeless and elegant and perfect for the season.
The amazing bridal bouquet features dahlias, roses, succulents, ranunculus, and greenery in sage, ivory, and pinks.
One of my favorite details are the custom Mr. and Mrs. signs on the backs of their reception seats and the vintage-inspired hand-stamped cutlery. Enza designs events for her clients in many different styles, and Enza & Joseph's details have a decidedly classic and vintage flare. I love the script and design used on their escort cards. Their cake is simply elegant with ivory and a single gold tier adorned with big ivory flowers. The color palette of gold, ivory, sage, pink, and grey accents is soft and feminine while maintaining a timeless feel.
This lovely ivory and gold elegant cake was created by LuLu Cake Boutique.
The table numbers holders were rustic wood covered with moss. Enza and her planner, Ali Barone, were creative down to the tiniest of details!
The food looks delicious! Caperberry Events Catering really did an amazing job making beautiful and crave worthy bites.
