The countdown is on! It’s our final post of 2015, and what better post to close out the year than this absolutely stunning black tie New Years Eve wedding styled shoot? The team of vendors behind this inspiring shoot should be at the top of your wedding or party must have list! Everything is perfect: the colors, the florals, the paper, the models… there’s too much to mention!
From Angela Christoforo of Elite Wedding and Event Planning, I’m so excited to share this gorgeous little black bow tie New Year’s Eve inspired shoot with your readers. Our shoot took place at the Roundhouse at Beacon Falls. The Roundhouse is one of those spaces every designer dreams of working at. The textures, lighting, and grounds are just unbelievable. A lot of the inspiration came from that little black velvet bow tie our groom was wearing. Black velvet makes me think of luxury, elegance, and natural beauty. When I think of New Year’s I think of fun, sparkle and new beginnings. We certainly combined all of those elements in this shoot. It was our intention to soften the dark and sparkling elements with some florals in shades of white and to give it a little excitement with the fun elements. Of course, a New Year’s celebration isn’t complete without some glitter and a little champagne! How about a hangover kit for the next morning? What a fun way to thank your guests for celebrating with you!
The invitation suite was sparkling with excitement anticipating a fun yet elegant New Year’s Eve affair! Flyaway Paperworks took our color palette of black, white and silver to the next level of excitement with the midnight confetti send off packet! The escort cards hung from sparkling black and silver velvet ribbons, which were suspended from a birch branch decorated with winter greenery for the ultimate statement piece. The sweetheart table was styled with a glittery black runner, soft florals in shades of white and blush and topped off with some accents of silver and gold in our china and crystal stemware. To give the table a bit of a wintery feel we incorporated some seasonal greenery on the chairbacks.
We love this video captured and edited by Beautiful Memories Video NY. It adds a whole new dimension to this gorgeous shoot!
Planner and designer Angela continues, Our awesome hair and makeup team really glammed up our bride. Meredith Hayman gave the bride’s beautiful blue eyes some drama and Annaliese styled her hair with a soft and elegant low bun full of curls. And have you seen the gorgeous Valia gown from Veluz‘s 2016 collection? Well, take a look at how our bride made a sparkling statement. The beading of that illusion back is like no other. Veluz gowns are all about the details. We love how the jewelry from Alex Karenin Estate Jewelry Store complements the gown so perfectly.
Of course, the night-cap for this formal affair was a champagne bar! Our table top was decorated with mini bottles of champagne, glitter, and a mix of soft florals and greenery. Lastly, a big shout out to the newly engaged couple Erin and Michael for modeling for us. We can’t wait to see their wedding day photos!
