This Barn at Flanagan Farm wedding in Maine immediately captured my heart when I read that the bride and groom currently reside in Ireland. They could not have picked a more beautiful location to bring their nearest and dearest together for an intimate celebration.
A beautiful invitation suite from Wedding Paper Divas set the tone for this romantic wedding day. Event planning and floral design by Lani Toscano from the ceremony to the reception transformed the space with blooms, blooms and more gorgeous blooms! Long wooden family style tables and rustic wooden chairs from Heartwood Essentials graced the barn. Strings of lights by The Event Light Pros gleamed from the beams as guests dined on what I bet was one amazing meal by 111 Maine Catering.
All the while bride Katie was an absolute vision dressed in Monique Lhuillier, shoes from BHLDN, soft wavy tresses by Amber Morin, and an all natural beauty look by Brianna Rothman Makeup. Also, how stunning did those bridesmaids look dressed in Jim Hjelm?! I can’t resist the men dressed in navy complete with bow ties, that was the icing on the cake to this stunning day. Julie K. Gray Photography captured it all, I for one will be swooning maybe forever over this one.
From the Bride, Our wedding in Buxton, Maine at the Barn at Flanagan Farm captured the subtle and meaningful details of our life together. The location in Maine is close by to our much-loved family vacation destination from over the years. The traditional Irish band and Celtic details are a nod to our current life in Ireland. The ‘90s cover band is our favorite act from the years we lived in Washington DC. The Barn at Flanagan Farm is a brilliant restoration of a 19th-century barn and farmhouse provided the rustic, romantic, and intimate feel we were looking for on our big day.
